My desk space was quite messy. I had to do something to get everything on place that is easy to find and tidy. I saw an open wire shelf from Loaf and loved it! I wanted it so badly but the price was killing me!£95, something I definitely couldn’t afford it at the moment. Then, I went for a lunch the other day and I passed a vintage shop on Picadilly Gardens. I went in and saw 2 wire cages.. They cost £7.50 but the shop owner gave me 2 for £10! They had tag on saying ‘Pet carrier cage-(not good for fish!)’ which made me laugh. I kept this tag! I gave them a good wash and used one as my storage shelf for my desk and one as shoe cabinet!(still need to be repainted as there are few places where it require) Unfortunately, due to contract I can’t screw it to wall so it have to be placed on top of the desk. It fantastic! I can clip stuff to it and also keep small items inside!

Love it! I have a white desk too and they just look so smart don't they?! I love your cages! I have a box from Ikea n top of my filing cabinet which is such a useful storage space 🙂 Great post!
I love this cage on your desks, even though I prefer to keep my desk clean and neat – no unnecessary things except from the keyboard, mouse and the computer screen!
What a great idea!! My desk is out of control hahaha I don't know if a wire rack could save it completely, but I think it looks awesome and I'm sure it could clean up as least some of the clutter 😉

I love how bright and organised your desk space is with clean lines and space. I have a fitted desk that my Dad made for me decades ago but it's really neglected and has my media on it mostly :o/ I like the idea of the cages: A shelf you can clip things to! Where abouts was the vintage shop in Piccadilly?
its right opposite Tesco (top of Piccadilly gardens) I am so glad to hear you like it! My desk is form Ikea and is ally ugly and on it's own looks shocking ;p
