Once considered a staple of 1970’s fashion, there’s no shying away from popularity that culottes have gained over the past couple of years. A favourite among celebrities and fashion bloggers alike, this style of trouser is characterised by a wide, flowing leg that falls high above the ankle.
They’re pretty much the opposite of skinny jeans, which is perhaps why so many of us are a worry to bring the trend into our own wardrobes. Styled correctly, however, and they have the power to become just as good as any other pair of trousers that we own.
