All Girl needs mirrors! I can’t even imagine a girl’s bedroom without a mirror these days. First thing I have noticed about my new shabby chic mirror that besides its own large size of the box when it arrived, it actually wasn’t heavy at all. I am a petite girl, and everything I am trying to lift most likely ends with injuries and heavy bruising around my legs. Yes, I am that type of clumsy person so mirror that is big enough to fit my whole tiny persona and not injured me was a first positive experience.

The mirror arrived very quickly to my office since the order day, as it only took few days, however before I got it myself, it took a week due to me being ill. As always this year anyway. I packed into a taxi and brought it home it unpack it. The mirror was very well packed to prevent any potential damaged with double box and extra layers of styrofoam for a protection. Once I have unwrapped it I placed it in my bedroom.

I love the fact that mirror is free standing with an extra chain to support from the back. It’s tall enough to fit me in full and wide enough to cover my whole body. Besides that mirror has extra free-standing support leg that is behind, it doesn’t take much space at all. The distance between the mirror and the wall is approximately the same as if you would place it again a wall, so you can play around your room either way. It’s really easy to carry it around the house. You can use the freestanding option and place it anywhere you want or hang up on the wall as well.

The frame itself it’s where whole wow factor comes from. Beautiful decorative carved effects on the corners and in the middle parts with a wider frame curves. Hand-painted vintage clean white colour, beautifully contrasts the carving showcasing each detail. The mirror itself is a nice standard finish that is true to view which is fantastic as sometimes you get mirrors that create wider or taller angle, which doesn’t give you the true reflection of yourself.

I love how the mirror complements my Scandinavian decor. I don’t have shabby chic finish in my home, besides the mirror can adapt to any interior style. Looks great placed near reading corner and hanger so I can quickly get dressed or just post selfies for Instagram.
