Christmas has approached so quick this year, and with no doubt after such a difficult year, most people are looking forward to having a relaxing and wonderful time with their family and friends. Especially, as this year, we are no longer under lockdown compared to last year, most people can visit family and friends during the festive period. What is also wonderful about Christmas, is the ability to make our closest ones happy by gifting them beautiful moments and Christmas Presents. Talking gifts, I collaborated with Boots this year, to create an ultimate Bag of Joy for my little sister, and I can’t wait to gift her these goodies.

Christmas is around the corner
Boots is the perfect place for me where I always buy my Christmas Gifts. Other than Bags of Joy packed with offers, Boots also offers 3 for 2 (cheapest free) as well as Star Gifts which can satisfy even the fussiest person. You can find your Secret Santa for your work Christmas Party and offers that can help save some pennies during Christmas. You can choose loads of amazing goodies to surprise your family and friends.

It was a no brainer to decide that my little sister would be the person I want to gift the most this year. She is a special person in my heart and someone I will always look after. She is 18 years younger than me and she was a little miracle to our family. As I moved abroad in my early adulthood, I feel like I haven’t spent as much time around her as I would wish. She grew up always admiring me, and we look alike so much. We also have very similar taste in many things in life, and I’m the person she always comes to for advice with style, makeup or any other.
The past two years have proven to be so difficult and I wasn’t able to travel to see my family for nearly two years. Two lonely Christmases & 1000s of tearful face-times later, I was finally able to book a flight home back in November and it was one of the most amazing times ever. It made me realise how homesick I was, and how much I missed my family.
As my little sister is an adult herself now, she is 20 years old and very into her make-up and clothes I decided to gift her something she would love. Boots was always a place for me to go to buy make-up, skincare and perfumes, so my natural choices were to include make-up in my ultimate Bag of Joy for her.

Boots, Bag of Joy
Boots is one of the very few places in the UK that stock my favourite brand Fenty, but also brands like Laura Mercer, NYX and perfume brands including Giorgio Armani. I wanted to give my sister the best, so I picked my favourite make-up from the brand’s range as they were also included in Boots Special Christmas prices.
Here are the pieces I decide to include in my Bag of Joy for her:
1. Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer, I think this is the best concealer on the earth.
2. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser Natural Skin Perfector SPF30 which is perfect for her young skin as it doesn’t clog pores.
3. NYX Professional Makeup Wonder Stick as it’s very handy for a contour.
Parfume
Perfumes are my favourite thing to gift to someone. It’s something very special in it, as it helps keeps the memory of a person by trigging our smell senses. I to this day remember my father’s perfume or my mum’s perfume. So for this reason, I wanted to gift her Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia Eau de Parfum, because it has such a fresh and young smell that I felt it would suit her so much. I hope she will be pleased with my choices.

I hope you like my choices, I have done a Christmas gift guide that can help you with other ideas, so don’t forget to check it out. Boots also is full of fantastic ideas for Christmas gifts for him, like every year, my boyfriend always gets something from there and I always order online as it’s far easier, and he is always happy with his choices. Also, whether is your mum, friend or any other female in your life, you can always find perfect Christmas gifts for her too.
