Creating a Green Wall in rented apartment

When I started blogging, my aim was pretty straight: to create a stylish home on a budget. You know my tricky part, I rent my apartment and I can’t drill in my walls. I had to find solutions that would save my deposit but my home will really show my style. When it comes to hanging items I have found that command stripes are the best solution to typical nails. You can add small clear hooks to your command stripes and hang anything you want without damaging your wall!

Swiftcover has some interesting findings through their extensive research. Did you know that when it comes to furnishing their homes, young Britons are thrifty. Just over three in five will use flat pack furniture to furnish their homes, whilst 37% will use hand-me-downs from friends and family, and 35% will turn to online marketplaces, such as eBay. Sounds familiar?

Nearly half of young Britons aged 18-35* (48%) think home ownership is an unrealistic dream
One in five expects to take over two years to fully furnish their first home
Just under two-thirds (61%) will use flat pack furniture to furnish their homes
