Most people will see their friends updates online of their fabulous abroad destinations and wish it could be them sipping cocktails under palms whilst watching the sunset in some nice foreign country. As much as fun this sounds, people often forget how beautiful destinations are right in front of their nose, in their own country, for half of the price.
I recently travel a lot and you can check some of my travel posts on my Instagram stories or check my Travelling Category to find more. As much as I personally love to travel abroad, I recently fell in love with Wales. That is for two reasons, firstly because the man I love lives here and secondly because this country is as beautiful as any country abroad. You can explore anything from seaside to Mountains to small country villages. Check out my post about Pen Y Fan visit.
We have recently been invited by a group of friends to a beautiful place called Tenby. I have completely fallen in love with this place. I was positively surprised by how cheap you can organise travelling there. Look for a budget-friendly Airbnb, rent a cabin or simply put a tent up can be a perfect way to save money but also Tenby has plenty of budget-friendly small boutique hotels and BBs you can rent for a few days. Travelling also can be super cheap with off-peak tickets by train alternatively to spending money on petrol. Also travelling by train can be a fun way to meet new friends, do work or simply relax as an alternative option to a long hours drive or stressful airports and planes.
Tenby has stunning beaches and loads of quirky cafes and restaurants. The place also has multiple small independent boutiques to buy clothes and small gifts. I personally love Tenby for its own colourful architecture as all building are painted pastel colours, with boats and seaside in a background making this place an Instagram heaven.
On top of that Tenby also has a historical culture. The beaches in Tenby been names one of the most beautiful in the UK and Europe. About an hour away from Tenby, you can visit St Davies with stunning churches and historical ruins.
